This is the rear lens of my

1986 Volvo 760 Wagon

I have taken the lens off the

car for the purposes of cleaning

the connections to prevent the

bulb failure warning light from

coming on.

This photo shows the lower tail/brake light socket.

The connection at 12 o'clock is the chassis ground.

The black wire with non-insulated terminal goes

here. The connection at the bottom is for White/brown wire. A yellow wire goes on the left.

This is the socket for the lower brake/tail

light. This bulb has two filaments. This is

the only socket that has three connections.

This light recepticle has two

connections. The connection on the left

is the ground bus.

It is common to all four recepticles.

It is important to keep these

connections clean.
